About me
I've been a gamer my entire life. I started playing with my father's Atari 2600 at the age of four and haven't looked back. It was probably sometime in the late 1980s, after I had my NES for a few years, that I realized I wanted to make games for a living. It was at that point that I strived to make gaming a significant part of my life. Even the domain of this website is derived from the Gnome Wizard I played in EverQuest named Fibus.
Over the years, I have played every game I could on every platform I could. From Karateka on the Apple II GS and Final Fantasy on the NES, to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Playstation 4, World of Warcraft on PC, and the various apps of the Apple iPhone. I've tried to stay as informed as possible about the games and game industry, which became incredibly easier once the internet was mainstream. Staying on the pulse of the industry is now vital as I am the one that will be creating the games that tomorrow's designers will be playing.

My favorite game genres include RPG (Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana), FPS (Destiny, Borderlands, Overwatch), MMORPG (EverQuest, World of Warcraft), and Strategy (Starcraft, Final Fantasy Tactics). These are not the only games I play however. Some of my current favorites include Path of Exile, MineCraft, Two Point Hospital, and Factorio.
Since making the jump into the designer's seat years ago, I've learned a great deal about the game industry. I've come to understand the reasons for some of the decisions made in games I had played in the past. I also understand decisions made in games today, in spite of the mulitple page threads on forums bashing the company for making the decisions they do.

With this experience, I strive to create the best games that I can. To develop the most compeling stories, with the most entertaining gameplay, have unrivaled sound quality, and the coolest looking characters, abilities, and worlds around.
